The Sauced Bulletin Promise

Ok you guys, I want to talk to you for a minute.  I want to talk to you about us.  More importantly, I want to talk to you about us and this blog.  This blog is the intermediary between you and me, which would be us if the blog weren’t in the way.  But the blog isn’t in the way because without the blog there wouldn’t be an us in the first place because we never would have found each other on the internet.  We’d just be floating around in cyber space, maybe just missing each other as we simultaneously log onto and off of the same cute animals falling asleep tumblr.  My point is let’s talk.

The blog, this blog, has not been doing well this summer.  I’ve been posting very infrequently and even letting certain posting opportunities pass by.  Tree of Life review?  Didn’t happen.  Harry Potter finale review?  Also didn’t happen (though I’m sure a large, all-encompassing Harry Potter retrospective post is out there in the future).  Record reviews, entertainment news commentary, political analysis (i.e. mocking the republican presidential candidates), all of these things have ground to a halt.  Perhaps it’s been because I’ve been busy.  Or maybe I’ve been stressed out about not having a job yet.  Or maybe I’ve been playing absurd amounts of Assassin’s Creed and NCAA 12in an effort to hide from my responsibilities.  IT COULD BE ANYTHING.

But whatever the totally reasonable and non-video game related reason is, I want to apologize.   I know that there are like four or five of you out there who really like this blog, and I’ve let you down.  And by extension I’ve let the American people down.  So I’m sorry.  And that brings me to the new Sauced Bulletin Promise.

Here goes.  From here on out I promise to post a lot more often.  Maybe not daily, but at least every few days and maybe daily when I get into the flow of things.  I’m going to review all the movies I see, be they in theaters or on Netflix or whatever.  I’m going to review all the new records I hear.  I’m going to post random funny things I think of or come across on the internet.  I’m gonna do a lot more conservative bashing, especially, by not limited to, the Tea Party.  In short, I’m going to try to make thus blog a real blog (whatever THAT means) rather than the sham that it has been.

So, I need you all to take my hand and come with me on this adventure.

And then take J.J. Abrams’ hand because he offered it and you don’t want to be rude and he makes good movies/shows.

Got both of our hands?  Good.  Now let’s go.
